The School of Continual Education

The School of Continual Education was founded in 1988 with the authorization by the former Ministry of Machinery and Industry.

After many years of development the School of Continual Education has set up its own characteristic disciplines and corresponding scales for running a school and has obtained preferably fame and effect in society.

The School of Continual Education offers adult education, continual education and self-taught education for senior high school students and for those who haven't got a bachelor degree. It also offers second specialty education, and nearly 100 bachelor-degree and junior college programs and courses through spare time classes, correspondence classes, daytime, part-time or full-time classes, with 15 specialties having continual enrollment. The school has branch colleges or correspondence stations in many provinces and municipalities. Now there are 9,000 students in the school.

The School of Continual Education has a faculty of 17, and offers four departments, Training Dept, Courses through spare time Dept, Correspondence Dept, Self-study Office.

At present, HUST is in a crucial period of its development, and all the staff are of the same mind. The School of Continual Education will put more efforts in building the university into a first-rate engineering university with higher-quality education, and more profits of running school.
